EQUITA Debt Advisory – formerly known as CAP Advisory, independent financial boutique with strong track record in corporate finance and debt advisory services – has been established in 2025 after entering into partnership with EQUITA Group.
The advisory boutique was founded by Fabrizio Viola, Fabio Cassi and Matteo Pattavina, that collectively bring over 80 years of experience in debt and equity corporate finance transactions and a proven track record in the Banking & Finance sector.

The Team
EQUITA Debt Advisory – part of the investment banking division of EQUITA – is formed by a team of high-quality and experienced professionals, with sound financial, industrial and strategic skills and an extensive experience in corporate finance deals, particularly in the restructuring of financial debt, also through the acquisition and disposal of UTP ("unlikely to pay") exposures, and managing the relationships with all stakeholders; in debt corporate finance, capital raising for business development initiatives or turnaround transactions; in the acquisition and disposal of NPL/UTP portfolios.
